Late night out.
J and D called some of us out for a dinner cum chat. And it ended up being a chilling session, with a big grp of us.
Though the conversation diverted to something serious... and cough cough, bloody irritating..., it was a good chat.
And 1 thing abt us, at least to me, is that we do not judge ppl. I do not feel that my ideas are going to be put down, or that if ppl will ignore me if I went on to defend my pt.
The most impt thing I realise in the discussion was... that I'm not as slow in thoughts nor speech as I lead myself to be. Key workplace events lead me to believe that I'm unable to hold a decent talk with ppl, and that I'll not be able to press my pt in work meetings.
SWAPS was a place that I grow up in, and develop to be a better person. And up till now, interaction with the SWAPS ppl, has provided me with support, reflection pts... to tide me thru this phase in life.
SWAPS might be just a name in the future,
but the friends we made in SWAPS,
will last a lifetime.
And that is applicable to all grps of SWAPS ppl... regardless whether u are in a small grp or big grp.
CHEERS TO US ALL!
